Last chance to buy at Greenbooth Village
There are just a few properties left on the market at Russell Homes hugely popular Greenbooth Village development in Norden
Buyers will have to be quick to secure one of the five remaining houses at Greenbooth Village in Norden.
The stunning rural development, which sits high up overlooking Greenbooth Reservoir, is almost sold out.
It’s thanks to the incredible location - quiet, private and exclusive - and the quality of the build that has seen buyers snap up 90% of the properties over the last year since it’s launch by local celebrity chef Andrew Nutter last spring, according to sales manager Gill Richardson.
“It’s hard to put into words what a lovely locations this is, but everyone who has bought with us says the setting and the views have been a major reason for them. We’re overlooking the reservoir and can see the Pennine hills beyond. There are walking trails around the reservoir and over to the hills, it’s simply serene,” said Gill.
“We’ve built a beautiful development befitting the scene. The homes are finished in a natural stone similar to the rest of the village, which creates a feeling of homeliness and character. And inside they are specified to a high level, something our buyers really seem to appreciate.”
Four of the remaining properties are The Kershaw housetype, a spacious five bedroom home with a double integral garage. This home has a large dual aspect kitchen, featuring a set of French doors out into the garden, a large breakfast bar and plenty of storage. There’s also a separate lounge, with French doors into the garden, a utility room and downstairs WC.
Upstairs a large master bedroom suite also boasts dual aspect views, a dressing room and en-suite shower room. There are three further double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and a fifth which can be used as a single bedroom or study, and a large family bathroom finished with contemporary sanitary ware and fittings.
Of these, Plot 38 is available with Help to Buy, the government-backed scheme providing homeowners with a loan of up to 20% to purchase their property. On the market for £589,995, Plot 38 is available for £471,996 with Help to Buy. It can be purchased with a deposit of around £29,500 and a H2B loan of just under £118,000, leaving the buyer to find a mortgage for the remaining £442,500. This particular property also has an exceptionally large garden extending to more than 1/3 of an acre, as does Plot 26 which has the largest outdoor area on the development.
The last remaining Holtham is also available for Help to Buy at £463,996, or £579,995 without. The arts and crafts style frontage has proved popular with buyers. It too has a separate double garage and a large garden and stands proud at the entrance to the development.
