Cedar Gardens show home opening: Gallery
Russell Homes was delighted to welcome guests to the official launch of Cedar Gardens, a development of 46 new homes in Heywood Rochdale.
Pupils from the nearby St Lukes CE Primary School helped to launch the show home alongside players from Rochdale Hornets Rugby Club and local councillors.
Genipher Payne and Remi Sedgley were among the winners of a “Design Your Dream Home” competition set by Russell Homes after visiting the school to provide an educational talk about housebuilding and careers in construction.
Andrew Russell, Russell Homes managing director, said: “We were pleased to welcome the children and all our visitors to the show home launch event. I was really impressed with all of the designs and it was hard to choose the winners. Remi and Genipher did a brilliant job on the day, helping to cut the ribbon and officially launch the development, thank you to them and their families for coming along.”
Guests were invited to chat to the Hornets players and take pictures after the ribbon cutting, a selection of the day’s shots are here below.
