Hundreds enjoy Greenbooth Village showhome launch

Russell Homes welcomed visitors over three days of events, with guests treated to a glass of bubbly and canapes while they toured the four-bedroom Cawson and took a look around at the site.

The launch weekend, March 25th and 25th, saw hundreds of potential buyers from across Norden, Bamford, Heywood, Hopwood, Edenfield, Bury and Manchester visit the site off Over Town Lane. Many enjoyed milling round in the sun with their glass of fizz, taking in the views over Greenbooth Reservoir and the hills beyond, before checking out the beautifully decorated new property.

Jackie Matheson, Russell Homes sales consultant, said: “I have never seen anything like it, there were so many people having a look around the site, enjoying the refreshments and the fantastic weather, it was a really great few days.

“The feedback on the showhome itself was fabulous, the construction team and interior designers have done an amazing job, and it was good fun showing off all their hard work to our visitors.”

The launch weekend followed a special VIP preview evening where local celebrity chef Andrew Nutter hosted a cooking demonstration in the new showhome in front of invited guests. These included some of the 11 buyers who have already purchased off plan, Norden’s three local councillors and members of the Russell Homes team. The demo event included a cook-off between buyer Norma Pope and Jan Law, winner of a competition to win a place at the table (click here for more).

The showhome itself is a four-bedroom detached house with integral single garage, off road parking and a good size south facing garden. It has a spacious lounge at the front with a large bay window, while the open plan kitchen diner opens out into the garden through French doors. There is also a separate utility and WC. Upstairs are four bedrooms, with a master en-suite, and a family bathroom arranged around a large landing. Two of the rooms offer views over the reservoir, while the others look out over the garden and the surrounding countryside.

The design scheme by Kerry Jane Interiors involves a muted pallet of soft creams, browns and greys, with sumptuous textures and classic furniture, edged with touches of old school glamour.
