The cosy Cromwell suits downsizers

Our 4-bed Cromwell was the ideal home for our downsizers, Jenny and Keith.

After having to cancel their reservation due to losing their buyer, Jenny and Keith came back to re-reserve their dream home, plot 98. With it still on the market, they knew that the Cromwell house type was perfect for them.

The Cromwell is a 4-bedroom, detached home with a large bay window to the lounge and an open plan kitchen/diner featuring French doors to the rear garden. On the first floor can be found 4 spacious bedrooms, with an en suite to the main, along with a family bathroom.

Jenny said: “The plot was reserved whilst we were waiting to sell our house. Luckily, we were able to purchase once we had sold ours and it was on the market.”

Jenny and Keith were after a highly sustainable home with a sunny south facing garden with access straight into their kitchen/diner. Off-street parking was also important to them after moving from a home located directly next to a noisy main road.

We loved Brook View as we wanted to move from a busy through road for less traffic noise, with easy access to facilities. The immediate location feels semi-rural with attractions on our doorstep. We are looking forward to going on walks in the summer.”

Since moving into their new Russell Home in February this year, Jenny and Keith have made their fourth bedroom into a desirable dressing room, adding floor to ceiling built-in wardrobes. A summer house has been installed in their garden, whilst Keith has found his favourite spot by the bright bay window in the spacious lounge.

From our first meeting with the Sales Consultant, we found her extremely helpful in all aspects of the purchase, especially as the plot was reserved. We are so pleased that we don’t feel like we are living on a building site and are settling in well, getting to know the area and our new neighbours.”
