Stubley Meadows to support Springhill Hospice

We’re delighted to announce that Russell Homes has partnered with Springhill Hospice at Stubley Meadows.

Our development, Stubley Meadows in Littleborough, will be a proud partner of Springhill Hospice in Rochdale. Springhill Hospice provides specialist palliative care to patients and families from diagnosis to end of life care. The 16-bed purpose-built facility in Rochdale relies on fundraising and donations to provide the highest standard of care.

Throughout the upcoming months, a series of events will be taking place at Stubley Meadows to raise money for the charity, in a number of different ways.

The partnership comes after Springhill Hospice was nominated by one of our buyers on the development, to receive a donation as part of our Christmas competition. The ‘Best Dressed Christmas Tree’ competition came with a hamper worth £100 to the lucky winner, alongside a matching donation to a charity of the winners choice.

Vicki Murray, Corporate and Partnerships Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice, popped by the sales centre to collect their cheque and tell us more about the charity.

“I would like to say a massive thank you to Russell Homes for choosing us as their charity partner. I am very excited to work with the team and see all their wonderful fundraising ideas come to life. Springhill Hospice simply could not continue to provide end of life care to the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale area without the support and generosity of those in our community.”
