5 reasons you should buy a new build home

It’s no surprise that with modern methods of construction, new build homes use 57% less energy, on average, compared to an equivalent second-hand home. Recent figures from the House Builder Federation (HBF) report in 2022, has showed that purchasers of a new build home can save up to £3,100 a year, compared to older homes on the market. These warranties champion high-quality homes, through the standards they supply that housebuilders must comply with. They ensure defects with the property are covered, built in accordance with guidelines and are inspected and signed off at each stage by a qualified inspector. You would not receive any of the same warranties with a second-hand property and any defects that need to be done, would be covered by yourselves. Further bumping up your expenditure, possibly before you have even moved into the property.
